Caitlin Hanak

Caitlin received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa Common Law Section. Before law school, Caitlin completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating with distinction from the University of Toronto, where she studied English, Political Science, and Classical Civilizations.

 

During law school, Caitlin worked as a summer student at a small criminal law firm in Mississauga. Caitlin gained oral advocacy experience through her participation in the Nelligan O’Brien Payne Moot and the Hicks Morley Moot. Having a keen interest in mentorship opportunities, Caitlin volunteered as a mentor through the Allies in Law Program and the Women’s Legal Mentorship Program. She also served as co-president of the First-Generation Network, uOttawa Chapter.
