Dina Abboud obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Western Law in 2023, with a focus on Criminal and Corporate Law. Prior to law school, Dina obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in 2019 from Toronto Metropolitan University. While there, she majored in Criminology, showcasing her passion for the intricacies of the criminal justice system, and earned a double-minor in Psychology and Business Law.      

Dina’s practical experience began during law school, where she had the privilege of working at a respected criminal defense firm in London. Her time there provided her with valuable insights and hands-on experience in the legal field.             

Throughout her law school journey, Dina has shown a dedication to community engagement and promoting access to justice. She worked with an organization to organize and conduct informative seminars aimed at educating members of her community about the nuances of sexual assault law, from both criminal and civil perspectives. Dina embraced multiple opportunities to mentor fellow law students, supporting a group of incoming first-year students and offering one-on-one mentorship. l
