Lauren Webster is a 2024 JD Candidate from Lakehead University. She obtained a Criminology Degree from Simon Fraser University in 2017, after which she returned to the Yukon, where she worked as a Court Clerk for the Territorial and Supreme Court.
As a law student, Lauren worked with Lakehead University Community Legal Services as a Caseworker and advocated on behalf of her clients for a variety of criminal and civil matters.
Lauren’s practical experience was further enriched while working for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada, where she gained hands-on experience with Criminal Code and CDSA matters.
Lauren has a passion for criminal law and promoting access to justice. Throughout her career, she has gained experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and is motivated to help others with her legal education.
